Welcome!

I have been teaching for 4 years in New Orleans, LA. I have been through a lot in the process and ever since I started, I shared stories with my family and friends about my trials and triumphs. My mom would say, "you really should be writing this stuff down!" And that's why we have this blog. For my teaching memories, great units that I enjoyed teaching, other teachers who inspire me, and all the rest. The title is because my first year, I had a student who would say "Good evening" to people who came to our class in the morning and it always stuck with me. It also made me realize that students have a hard time telling time! I hope you enjoy reading a bit of my journey in teaching.
